WILDFOX COUTURE is one of my favourite trend in the whole world, because of the wonderful soft fabrics and the unique design of the items…Musician Jimmy Sommers and co-designers Kimberley Gordon and Emily Faulstich established Wildfox Couture in Los Angeles in 2007. The line has progressed into a full knit range of tops, bottoms, dresses, scarves, socks, and denim. A Limited Edition Daydream T collection featuring the designers’ personal photos, paintings, favorite animals and inspirations, a jewelry range, and also a shoe collaboration with designer Jeffrey Campbell are all launching debut collections for Spring 2012. With continued growth and success of the Women’s line, a kids division called Wildfox Kids hit stores in Fall 2009.

Couture is distributed in over 30 countries worldwide including the U.K., Germany, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Russia and Taiwan, and can be found in such stores as Harvey Nichol’s, Selfridges and Queen for a Day.

These days, women are all obsesed with fashion. This could be good if it is connected to creativity and it is not related to a bunch of suitcases full of money. Jungle Fever is a new spin on accessorizing…. It’s already the second decade of the new century, and we are dealing with style questions, ethical and otherwise, that would have bedeviled our chic ancestors. We may pay lip service to sustainability and strive for a toddler-size carbon footprint, but who among us is considering the environment when our cupboards are stuffed with nonbiodegradable synthetic Marc Jacobs fetish frocks, shiny plastic Balenciaga houndstooth-check spring coats and truckloads of industrial-strength Spanx made of who knows what mysterious chemical compound? Not to mention the sheer quantities of merchandise that languish in our armoires, living as we do in a time when 30 pairs of shoes don’t raise an eyebrow, instead of the measly two (or maybe three or four, if they were really prosperous) that our forebears made do with.

Last night the photographer Arthur Elgort opened his SoHo studio to friends and admirers looking to land last-minute gifts, like a photograph by the famous lensman of Kate Moss. Or how about a portrait of Mick Jagger? There was plenty of Elgort’s oeuvreto choose from (and all at discounted prices). On site the hairstylist Christiaan Houtenbos, the Pace Gallery director Nicola Vassell and the television personality China Chow all shopped and swapped stories about their own Elgorts. “I’m getting my father photos that Arthur took of my mother,” said Chow, dressed in a fur Giambattista Valli top. “They were taken for Vogue; she wasn’t wearing any makeup.” With all the gift-buying going on, T went ahead and asked guests what they were treating themselves to for the holidays:

Dear Santa Burberry, here is my wish list for next season. I know it’s a little long, but I promise I’ll make good use of every single piece, including the super pretty hats.

No seriously, I loved this collection.  It made me feel like somebody was suddenly able to put my ideal style in one show. The mix of sportiness and femininity I love. Plus, this time, fantastic prints.

Flow Festival is an annual music festival taking place in Helsinki, Finland in mid-August. The next edition of Flow will be organized this August on 13-14 2011. The music presented at Flow is a strong and varied selection of up and coming and established artists from indie-rock to soul and jazz and from folk to contemporary club sounds, both from the domestic and the international scene. Alongside great music, Flow is about urban spaces, arts, cosy decoration, good food and drink. Flow takes place at the historic Suvilahti power plant area close to Helsinki city centre.

Flow Festival is one of the most urban and unique music festival held in Finland, if not in the whole Scandinavia….!The Suvilahti festival area is located near by the centre of Helsinki, in the area of Sornainen. The festival area is approximately 3 hectare and takes 16.000 capacity of audience.

Suvilahti is a former energy production area that has over 100-year history and the area it self brings new vibes to the venue. It is a true melting pot during the four day and brings together colorful people and urban rhythms.

This year the festival program is truly impressive! The diverse cast of Flow artists thus far includes Kanye West, the king of new pop music. Q-Tip, the legendary MC from the pioneering hiphop group A Tribe Called Quest, makes his first appearance in Finland, the Swedish songstress Lykke Li and the “Nordic Daft Punk”, Royksopp, display their party-starting electro akin to last year’s successful release “Senior”.

The list of performers is killer. The urban beats will flow from electronic music via indie rock and jazz to world music. Overall the festival’s musical scope is broad. This year, Flow will feature not only great music, but also design, live radio, plus more extensive selection of festival cuisine than ever before. In all these aspects of the festival, Flow’s partners play an important role. In late May and early June, Flow Festival will also take things onto Helsinki city streets. We recommend that you keep your eyes open for special features for example at central tram stops.

I love Francoise Hardy. She is inspiration. These black & white photos are so beautiful and timeless. I heard she was the inspiration for Balenciaga’s spring 2011 collection (and also some previous ones). Not a surprice really. Once she wrote ” Old men clothed in curly mustaches, float on the benches, blankets of tourists in bright red nylon shirts, with straw hats of ambassadors ..”

Francoise Madeleine Hardy (born 17 January 1944) is a French singer, actress and astrologer. Hardy is an iconic figure in fashion, music and style. She received a guitar on her sixteenth birthday as a reward for passing her baccalaureat (the main diploma required to pursue university studies).

Hardy sings in French, English, Italian, Spanish, German and has one interpretation in Portuguese. The French teenage sensation started her sensation career at the tender age of 17 and became a music/movie star during the 60s and 70s, her gorgeous voice and angelic looks made her an icon. We adore her style and easy-going attitude, Francoise defined “cool” as we know it.

Norwegian model Kat Hessen is on the rise, and she’s determined to make it on her own terms. The enigmatic beauty first landed on our focus this summer. We were impressed by the 20-year-old’s raw yet sensual face; it was apparent homegirl that knew how to model.

At the spring 2011 shows, Hessen debuted on New York’s cooler runways, walking for Rodarte, Marc Jacobs, and Alexander Wang. This success followed her the remaining three legs of Fashion Week, as she walked for Topshop Unique and Christopher Kane in London, Prada and Missoni in Milan, and Miu Miu and Chanel in Paris. In the months to come, anticipate the Nirvana fan to be prominently featured in those directional British magazines.

If she does not become a model, she will  ”backpack the world alone, do yoga on the top of remote mountains somewhere in Bhutan with her bearded guru, search for the holy grail in various shady pubs, etc., etc. Why? ‘Cause that’s what all the hip kids do.
