The Chelsea Townhouse

Stephan Fletcher Architects has just finished the refurbishment of Chelsea townhouse. The home is located in London, SW1 at Cale Street and only the external walls remain of this early- Victorian structure. The interior has been completely renewed and extended and a basement has been excavated occupying the entire footprint of the house.

The house owns a kitchen and wine cellar, and daylight is permitted via a new structural glass roof behind the street railings. The Living Room is on the ground floor, and an elegant staircase with glass balustrade leads past several bedrooms and bathrooms to the top-floor Master Suite.

This includes a cantilivered oak staircase to a Mezzanine Dessing Area and a sunny roof terrace. Eight new windows have been inserted on the sider elevation with plaster mouldings to match the original.

I was navigating online for thoughts on a new article to write upon and saw your homepage. Although I may agree with your ideas a little bit, I think I will write something that is somewhat at the underside of your post. I like your ideas though and will write something that is very near to it .
